TV and Radio personalities or anyone who has access to a mic and are plugged into the public's ear shot has a responsibility to get whatever story they are telling right, they have an obligation bond by their employer, and laws to report the story correctly so as not to cause panic or insight riots or civil disobedience (chaos) ,if you don't get the story correct, than you have an even higher ethical and legal obligation to retract or admit your mistakes. When reporting any story you have the responsibility to keep your personal opinions out of the story as not to cloud a judgment or put a personal spin on the FACTS of whatever story you are reporting ..failure to do so should result in a news reporter or broadcaster fined loss of job and jail time, failure to do so on a local level should result in being permanently banned from public airways, fined shut down and jail time. The same logic behind "Caution contents maybe hot" on a coffee cup, should be applied to when reporting the news in a public forum...my rant on Stephen Colbert, The Daily Show, and the rest of the liberal bias news outlets ...shame on you all..
